El Modulor de Le Corbusier

Subo un par de libros que estube buscando por un rato y puede llegar a ser de interés para varias personas.

Le Corbusier developed the Modulor in the long tradition of Vitruvius, Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man, the work of Leone Battista Alberti, and other attempts to discover mathematical proportions in the human body and then to use that knowledge to improve both the appearance and function of architecture.
The system is based on human measurements, the double unit, the Fibonacci numbers, and the golden ratio. Le Corbusier described it as a "range of harmonious measurements to suit the human scale, universally applicable to architecture and to mechanical things."
Le Corbusier published Le Modulor in 1948, followed by Modulor 2 in 1955. These works were first published in English as The Modulor in 1954 and Modulor 2 (Let the User Speak Next) in 1958.
Le Corbusier used his Modulor scale in the design of many buildings, including Notre Dame du Haute and buildings in Chandigarh.
In the construction of the first Unité d'Habitation apartment building, in Marseilles, a version was cast in concrete near the entrance.

The graphic representation of the Modulor is a stylized human figure with one arm upraised stands next to two vertical measurements, the red series based on the figure's navel height (108cm in the original version, 1.13m in the revised version) then segmented according to Phi, and the blue series based on the figure's entire height, double the navel height (216cm in the original version, 2.26m in the revised), and likewise segmented. A spiral, graphically developed between the red and blue segments, seems to mimic the volume of the human figure.

Analisis y Estetica del Arte

Decidí pornele pilas a este blog, ahora estoy subiendo un compilado de textos de... [leer puto titulo]. Se que la imagen mucho no pega, pero bueno, esta buena y la mande.

A mi, mucho la onda no me cabe, pero a veces es revitalizante leer alguna de estas cosas, ya sea para salir del estancamiento creativo (emmmm nunca sali gracias a alguno de estos textos, pero a alguno por ahi se le ilumina el bochin) o simplemente para limarla un rato leyendo sobre lo que piensan estos tipos. Algunos estan copados y los recomiendo bastante. No se, me parecio un aporte copado y que puede servir para "algo".

Como en esta ocacion no son TANTOS los textos, me puedo dar el lujo de poner el nombre del texto y del autor.

Compilado de literatura socialista

Bueno, despues de un largo rato sin postear, vuelvo con algo que a varias personas les puede llegar a ser bastante util, o al menos una idea copada. Se trata de un compilado de libros y textos socialistas (por si el titulo no era lo suficientemente descriptivo).

Antes de seguir escribiendo quiero dejar algo en claro: La unica intención del blog es intentar crear un pensamiento crítico, compartir ideas y opiniones. La unica forma de hacer esto (segun mi ingenuo ser), es abriendo el bocho A LO QUE VENGA. Despues cada uno decidirá y creará su postura a su parecer. Este blog no adhiere a ninguna politica ni postura ideologica en particular.

Intente poner en esta compilacion, tanto los libros "de cabecera"(aunque posiblemente, falten algunos), como otros menos conocidos, apuntando tanto lo referido a ideologia socialista como puntos de vista tecnico-economicos del socialismo.

Estoy preparando una recompilacion de textos liberalistas y neo liberalistas, poniendo enfasis en Milton Friedman (jojojo, si lo viera marx XD), para que no se hable sobre el objetivismo de este blog.
